Today is this first week of three that the kids are off school. We are mostly hanging around at home before we go to Spain the third week (wahoo!). Thinking of our upcoming trip, I thought I would make some pan con tomate to go with an otherwise mostly purchased tapas dinner. (The last Spanish tortilla I made used a small fortune’s worth of olive oil, but still didn’t turn out as well as the pre-made one from the store!) Also this week, our German au pair is making us a German meatball dish that her mother makes. I am mostly curious about the creamed cauliflower that she’s making along with it. Yum!
