Hungerpots are my new favourite way to cook: just throw everything in at the same time, give it a stir, and you’re done! It could hardly be easier! This one would be yummy with some added chicken pieces or prawns (shrimp), but we loved it as-is.
As soon as I started making wonderpots, I knew I needed to find a mac & cheese recipe, but everything I came across wasn’t quite what I was looking for. After reading loads of different recipes, I came up this version and am thrilled to say that it was a delicious success! There are a few small extra steps (one of which is optional . . . ) that might technically disqualify this as a wonderpot, but I won’t tell if you won’t. 😉
Can you believe we’re already on week nine of meal plans? Gosh, time sure flies! I have a little surprise for you on week ten and can’t wait to share it with you! It’s gonna be fun!
In the meantime, we have some yummy recipes for this week, including sweet potato tacos and a variation of the original wonderpot. It is the first one I came across and it kind of blew my meal planning mind. I would love to hear your favourite wonderpot recipe if you have one!
This is another favourite in the Hungerford household. Not only is it delicious, but it is fun and easy to make! Just dump all the ingredients in the pot and you’re done. It is a perfect weeknight meal!
