Weekly Meal Plan #Christmas

IMG_8645.JPGChristmas in the Hungerford household is mostly about food. Jason and the kids spend every weekend during Advent baking a variety of Christmas cookies (which are frozen and then all pulled out on Christmas Eve!), we have a variety of Christmassy drinks we indulge in as well (milk punch is always a favourite!), and sausage bread is a must-have. Then I can’t overlook the fact that we Hungerfords make a darn good turkey (top tip: it’s all about the butter!).

I won’t have time to write about all of these this week, so let me know (here or on IG or FB) which of the recipes below you would most like to read and I’ll see what I can do!

Monday:
Sausage Bread

Tuesday:
Milk Punch/Hot Toddies

Wednesday:
Christmas Cookie Roundup

Thursday:
Egg Nog

Friday:
The Perfect Turkey

Sausage bread SVP. I’ve already looked up some recipes… Haven’t heard of it before and I’m positive yours will be so delicious, based on your other recipes I’ve tried. No pressure! Happy Christmas from Toronto, Canada, love your feed and new blog.

Uh oh, this sausage bread looks dangerously addictive. I can recommend the butcher’s shop, Flock and Herd,on Bellenden Road, SE15, if you haven’t already been there. They sell award winning sausages, and sausage meat. They have a basic mixture and then add different herbs etc to get different versions like Italian. No filler either.
