Meal Plan #85

After about a six month break from posting meal plans, I am back! I was still meal planning as normal, but just not posting them on the blog. I am excited to get back posting more regularly and whipping this here blog into shape.

The kids and I returned from America last week and with no meal plan ready for dinners, we have been winging it every night. While it has been fun hitting the grocery store every day and picking up exactly what we were in the mood for, we ended up spending the time usually allotted for prepping for dinner browsing the aisles at the grocery store instead of actively preparing the meal. As a result, we ended up purchasing more prepared meals instead of preparing them ourselves. There’s nothing necessarily wrong with that if that is what works best for you, but it is nice to know exactly what has gone into a meal (and doing the prep ourselves saves loads of ££!).

Monday:
Honey Garlic Chicken
(trying a new recipe)

Tuesday:
Pineapple Fried Rice

Wednesday:
Teriyaki Salmon

Thursday:
B.L.A.T.S
(bacon, lettuce, avocado, tomato sandwiches)

Friday:
Pizza
